Swish with the Stars: A Slam Dunk Success in 2023!

July and September 2023, the Swish with the Stars Girls Basketball Clinics, hosted by the dynamic duo of Cayla King and Olivia Summiel and generously sponsored by Coldwell Banker Townside Agents, Mike Eggleston, Pamela White Wolsey, Bill Aden, along with D.A. Davidson’s Mike Creamer and the Christiansburg Rec Center, left an indelible mark as they scored big on and off the court.

With an impressive turnout of over 200 young girls hailing from the Roanoke and New River Valley regions, the clinics provided an opportunity for budding athletes ranging from 3rd graders to 9th graders to hone their skills, learn invaluable drills, and, most importantly, have a ton of fun.

Each session was packed with excitement, featuring engaging Q&A sessions with the stars of the Virginia Tech Women’s Basketball Team. As if that weren’t enough, participants had the privilege of collecting autographs and capturing memorable moments through photographs with their idols.

This phenomenal success would not have been possible without the unwavering support of the dedicated players, the tireless efforts of our volunteers, and a heartfelt thank you to Triumph NIL for their pivotal role in making this event a reality.
